Ekiti State University (EKSU) has approved the academic calendar for 100 Level students for the 2026/2027 academic session. The calendar covers first- and second-semester registration, lectures, examinations, orientation, matriculation and result processing.

The calendar was considered by the University Senate at its 309th Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.

EKSU First Semester Academic Calendar

First-semester academic activities will commence with resumption and registration on Monday, 5 October 2026.

1. Regular registration: 5–16 October 2026
2. Late registration and lectures: 19 October 2026
3. Late registration closes: 23 October 2026
4. Orientation: 26–30 October 2026
5. Matriculation: 17 December 2026
6. December break: 21 December 2026–1 January 2027
7. Lectures end: 15 January 2027
8. Revision: 18–22 January 2027
9. First-semester examinations: 25 January–19 February 2027

The first semester comprises 2 weeks of registration, 13 weeks of lectures, 1 week of revision and 4 weeks of examinations, making a total of 19 weeks.

EKSU First Semester Result Processing Dates

Following the first-semester examinations, results will go through the relevant academic boards for consideration.

1. 8 March 2027: Departmental Board of Examiners' meeting
2. 15 March 2027: Results uploaded on the portal
3. 22 March 2027: Portal-generated results for Departmental Board consideration
4. 29 March 2027: Faculty Board of Examiners' meeting
5. 1 April 2027: Business Committee of Senate consideration of results

EKSU Second Semester Academic Calendar

Second-semester registration and lectures will begin on Monday, 15 March 2027.

1. Regular registration: 15–26 March 2027
2. Late registration: 29 March–2 April 2027
3. Lectures end: 11 June 2027
4. Revision: 14–18 June 2027
5. Second-semester examinations: 21 June–16 July 2027

The second semester comprises 2 weeks of registration, 13 weeks of lectures, 1 week of revision and 3 weeks of examinations, making a total of 17 weeks.

The second-semester results will be processed according to the following schedule:
