Convocation Schedule and Key Highlights
Activities will commence with the Pre-Convocation Lecture on April 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, to be held at the university’s Conference Centre in Jabi, Abuja. The lecture will be delivered by former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Kanu Godwin Agabi.
The main Convocation Ceremony will take place on April 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Convocation Arena, NOUN Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja. Attendees scheduled for the on-site ceremony are required to be seated no later than 9:00 AM.
Attendance Guidelines for Graduands
The university stated that the ceremony will be conducted in a hybrid format (on-site and off-site). Only the following categories of graduands are permitted to attend physically at the Convocation Arena:
First-Class graduates
Award winners
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) graduates
Master’s degree graduates
Doctorate and Honorary Doctorate recipients
All other first-degree graduands across NOUN study centres, including those within the Federal Capital Territory, will participate from their respective state capital study centres.
Certificate Collection Details
Graduands are advised that certificates will be available for collection immediately after the convocation ceremony:
At the NOUN Headquarters, Abuja
At respective state capital study centres
Graduands within Abuja are to collect their certificates at the Abuja Model Study Centre, Kubwa.
