The management of the University of Ibadan hereby informs all candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session that the Physical Admission Clearance Exercise has been scheduled to run as follows:
Start Date: Monday, March 23, 2026
End Date: Friday, March 27, 2026
All admitted candidates are expected to appear in person at their designated venues according to the official schedule.
Purpose of the Physical Clearance Exercise
The physical clearance exercise is a critical verification stage in the admission process. It is designed to:
Authenticate candidates’ academic and personal credentials
Confirm eligibility for admission
Finalize institutional records
Issue official Letters of Certification of Admission to successfully cleared students

Mandatory Documents
- FORM B003 (duly completed – available on the University of Ibadan website)
- Admission Letter (Institutional Copy) – must be printed in colour
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level Result Slip (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB as applicable)
Additional Academic Credentials (Where Applicable)
- A/Level (Cambridge)
- NCE Certificate
- OND/HND Certificate
- First Degree Certificate
Special Requirements
- HND/University Graduates: NYSC Certificate or Exemption Certificate
- Direct Entry Candidates: JAMB Acknowledgment Slip
Other Supporting Documents
- Two (2) Reference Letters from reputable individuals (on official letterhead, addressed to the Registrar)
- Birth Certificate
- Two (2) recent passport photographs
- A file and tags for document organization
