This decision was made following consultations with key stakeholders to guarantee the uninterrupted transport services between the Mini Campus and the Main Campus.
Effective Thursday, 26th March 2026
This is to inform all members of the University community that, following the recent increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) from ₦930 to ₦1,370 per litre, transportation fares within the University have been temporarily adjusted.
This change is necessary to maintain continuous transportation services between the Mini Campus and the Main Campus.

The new transportation fares will be effective from Thursday, 26th March 2026.
The fare adjustment follows consultations with relevant stakeholders, including the leadership of the University’s staff unions.
We are committed to reducing the fares should the pump price of petrol decrease in the future.
Please note that this fare adjustment will remain temporary until further notice.
Should the price of petrol decrease, there will be a corresponding reduction in transportation fares.
