The management of the University of Delta, Agbor (UNIDEL) has announced the commencement of applications for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into undergraduate degree programmes.
Qualified candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected UNIDEL as their preferred institution are invited to apply. Direct Entry applicants who have either chosen the university as their first-choice institution or successfully changed to UNIDEL through JAMB are equally eligible for the screening process.
The online application portal opens on Monday, May 25, 2026, and closes on Monday, June 15, 2026. Prospective applicants are advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.
UNIDEL 2026/2027 Post-UTME Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the screening exercise, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Candidates applying for Medicine, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Law must score a minimum of 230 in the 2026 UTME.
- Applicants seeking admission into all other courses must obtain at least 150 in UTME.
- Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including subjects required for their intended programme, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
- Direct Entry applicants must possess approved qualifications such as Diplomas or Degrees recognized by NUC, NBTE, or NCCE.
- Applicants must be 16 years old or above by September 30, 2026, in line with JAMB admission policy.
However, Direct Entry admission will not be available for Medicine, Nursing Science, and Medical Laboratory Science programmes.
UNIDEL 2026/2027 Screenng Fee
All eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 only to process their application.

How to Apply for UNIDEL Post-UTME Screening 2026/2027
Candidates are expected to complete their registration online by following these steps carefully:
Step 1: Visit the Admission Portal
Go to the official UNIDEL application portal: UNIDEL Admission Portal
Step 2: Register Your Application
Click on “Register for Application” at the top-left section of the page.
Enter:
- Your Surname exactly as it appears on your JAMB slip
- JAMB Registration Number
- A valid email address
Your Application ID and Password will be automatically sent to your email.
Step 3: Confirm Registration
Open the email sent to you and click the confirmation link.
This will redirect you to your dashboard, where your login credentials will be displayed.
Step 4: Complete Your Application
Login and click “Edit Application Record” to begin filling in your information.
