This initiative is designed to provide flexible learning opportunities, particularly for working-class individuals, teachers, and candidates seeking to upgrade their academic qualifications.

Admission Requirements

1. For B.Ed, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed) and BLIS Programmes

Candidates must possess:

  1. A good NCE or Diploma in a relevant field (Minimum of Lower Credit).
  2. OR five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, for Direct Entry (Contact II).

2. For Candidates with WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB

  1. A minimum of five (5) credits, including Mathematics and English, qualifies candidates for admission starting from Contact One.

Method of Application

Prospective applicants are to follow these steps carefully:

  1. Register for the JAMB Part-Time Programme at any accredited JAMB office or CBT centre.
  2. Select University of Jos as the institution of choice (not Federal University of Education, Pankshin).
  3. Proceed to the FUEP Ventures Office with evidence of JAMB registration.
  4. Obtain the application form at a cost of ₦8,000 (via bank payment using the teller provided).
  5. Complete the application form with accurate details.
  6. Attach photocopies of all relevant credentials, including:
  7. Academic certificates
  8. JAMB registration printout
  9. Payment receipt
  10. Submit the completed application package at the point of collection.

Important Information

  1. Applications without complete documentation (including JAMB printout) will not be processed.
  2. The deadline for submission is Friday, 19th June 2026.
  3. Change of course will not be allowed after admission has been granted.
